If you happened to find an airplane in the heart of a clearing in Hillsboro, you would probably say that the craft unfortunately crashed in the wrong place. However, this place which seems to be a place of desolation for end-of-life airplanes is the property of a certain Bruce Campbell. The man in question has fitted out the airplane you see in the photo to make it his home. To do this, he used his qualities as a retired electrical engineer and his limitless inventiveness. You should also know that Bruce Campbell has always been gifted with his hands when it comes to giving a second life to an airplane. So, how did he manage to transform this plane into a habitable place? The answer, right away!
1. Big Dream
Retired and 64 years old, Bruce Campbell has never hesitated to use his vivid imagination. When he was 20 years old, he bought a 10-acre piece of land which at the time cost $ 23,000. The town is located in Oregon or more precisely in the heart of the Hilsboro forest. When he made the purchase of this land, Bruce knew exactly what he wanted to do with it. Indeed, during his younger years, he excelled in DIY and especially in recycling. On this land he bought, he therefore intended to build his unusual place of residence. At the time, he planned to find several vans to carry out his project. However, he changed his mind when he discovered a different story but similar to his own!
