The right place?
They were incredibly surprised to hear the voice of the pilot of the plane. Juan was the operator who noticed the point on the radar and it was up to him to take the call and communicate with the unknown aircraft.
“Where are we?” Said the voice. Juan replied, alarmed: “Caracas airport, what is your destination?” There was a short pause before answering, but a few seconds seemed like hours. It was calm on the other side, the whole air traffic control team waiting in suspense. “Pan Am flight 914. Depart New York and drive to Miami. We have 57 passengers on board and 4 crew members.”
