The following sections were some of the most significant ancient mysteries that still confuse Archeologists and scientists with newly found discoveries about the ancient civilization and how our ancestors lived. Even though they conducted in-depth research about this, they were still times that they have no clue about how or why things existed.
It was in 1838 in Iraq, a German archeologist named Wilhelm Konig discovered a collection of clay jars which said to be at around 200 BCE. He studied each clay jar and found unique contents inside it. There was an iron rod wrapped in a copper cylinder. They concluded that those were old batteries. And when he published his scientific findings of this conclusion, The world seemed to be skeptical about these, questioning him about how did it happen. That how could they know about electricity, let alone made batteries to create it? With this theory to be accurate, a college professor tested it, if it will work. He asked his students to make a duplication out of this using the same materials, by using clay jars, iron rods, and copper coils. After the experiment, they were amazed that the batteries produced an electric current, which led to experts confirming it which give rise to another question. What were ancient people use this electricity?
