The job that changed her life

After this little paid work experience, Meghan found a completely different job. Indeed, she began to work for a charity, serving food to the poor in the soup kitchens of Skid Row. Despite her young age, Meghan had a job that was far from easy. “I was 13, and the first day I was very scared. I was young, and it was tough there. And even though I was with a great group of volunteers, I felt overwhelmed. . I remember that one of my mentors (Mrs. Maria Pollia) told me that “life is about putting the needs of others before your own fears”. I have never forgotten that phrase,” she said speaking to the Daily Mail. That job went on to become the one closest to her heart.
