The rules Kate Middleton must follow prove that life as a princess is not easy!

No mussels or oysters

Eating mussels or oysters is a no-no for Kate Middleton. Although Kate seemed to have loved eating mussels during her college life, she is no longer allowed to devour her favorite mussels or oysters having become part of the royal family. The rule exists because of the health problems these foods present if they are not stored properly. This is something the Royals simply cannot risk. They cannot afford to have a royal family member absent at a gathering because they had had food poisoning. Perhaps, that just doesn’t sound every elegant to the Queen.

As delicious as these shellfish are, Kate will never be able to say yes. Hopefully before officially joining the family, she gave her all with one last seafood feast! Then again, she might not like oysters anyway, which makes this an easy rule not to break. However, nothing prevents them from tasting seafood that they have caught themselves, as the seafood they fetch themselves can be stored according to hygiene, which means there won’t be a risk of food poisoning. That is the only instance the Royals can devour on some delicious seafood.
