In-flight meals are filled with salt, sugar, fat and simple carbohydrates that give you a feeling of satiety, without any nutritional value. If you are stuck on a long-haul flight with nothing else to eat, these meals are your salvation. But you might want to think about bringing your own food on board next time. It’s up to you then, since now you know that the food on board is simply stuffy. You can also feed yourself before take-off or once you’ve landed!
