Very active in the world of finance, with a job and a stable income, the young woman had decided to move on. Jessie Lipskin, then 30 years old, decided to create the house of her dreams instead of wasting her time looking for it.
She decided to leave her flat in New York City after falling in love with a 1966 GMC Greyhound bus that she had found while scrolling through her eBay search. It took her three years of makeover work to transform a simple looking bus into a luxury home. Some people may find it radical that someone with a well-defined career, a stable income and a cozy flat in the largest city in the United States who trades all that for a bus.
